Sofa Corner with Lake View by Novus Design

At Novus Design, we love transforming overlooked spaces into stunning focal points. Our recent project involved a client who had an underutilized corner in their home, surrounded by glass on three sides, offering a breathtaking lake view. Despite the panoramic setting, the existing sofa only faced one direction, leaving much of the beautiful scenery unused.

Noelle Simon, our Head of Design, took on the challenge of redesigning this corner to maximize the view. Her solution? A custom-designed sofa island. This innovative piece allows the client to fully appreciate the entire landscape. Depending on where one sits on the sofa, they can enjoy different angles of the lake through each of the glass fronts, providing a fresh perspective every time.

Using a 3D model, Noelle was able to demonstrate how the new sofa island would transform the space, giving the client a clear vision of the final design. Now, Noelle is in the process of bringing this concept to life, ensuring that the client will soon enjoy a truly immersive and flexible lake-view seating experience.
